ESTECO presents research activities behind BeePMN at ICSOFT-EA 2016 conference

The 11th International Conference on Software Engineering and Applications (24-26 July 2016, Lisbon, Portugal) has accepted our paper "Exploiting Web Technologies to Connect Business Process Management and Engineering".

Our researcher and scrum master Dario Campagna will participate and present a poster.

Here at ESTECO we have a long tradition of pursuing research activities. We regularly publish research papers on journals and conference proceedings. Our main topics are: software engineering, scientific computing, (multi-objective) optimization algorithms, applied math and multi-disciplinary engineering studies. Our RnD team developed a BeePMN web platform as a result of years of studies, experiments and prototypes.

The proposed paper and poster explain the three main scientific and technological ideas behind this project: - client-based web applications offer the best support for collaborative platforms; - event-based execution engines fulfill the necessary persistence and transactionality requirements; - BPMN standard is well suited also for scientific and engineering workflows.
