IEEE ISSE 2016: master algorithm process
This diagram represents a master algorithm for the co-simulation of a coupled dynamic system.
The tasks are interfaced with the underlying simulation tools using the Functional Mock-Up Interface standard. The algorithm is the same as the algorithm proposed in the FMI documentation. The way in which the BPMN process is represented renders the logic behind the algorithm explicit and easily modifiable.
We are presenting our research at the IEEE ISSE 2016 conference. The research is published in the paper “Solving Time-Dependent Coupled Systems Through FMI Co-Simulation and BPMN Process Orchestration”.
